Human Host began in December 2002 in Baltimore, Md., USA. Their work is a combination of punk, crunk, psychedelia, folklore, and theatre.

Led by Mike Apichella, the creative core of Human Host also includes producers Rick Weaver, Jeff Duncan, and Josh Marchant, with a live band featuring Kieth Backhaus and Aaron Waesche, in addition to a rotating ensemble of diverse musical & non-musical contributors and collaborators.

They have released four c.d.'s: a split with the Baltimore band Fridge A on the Baths Of Power label in summer 2003, Invisible Arteries released by MT6 Records in October 2004, Exploding Demon(MT6) in February '06, and their most recent full length - The Halloween Tree - came out in summer '07 exclusively on Fall Records as a digital download with the c.d. version of it jointly released by Fall Records, Terra Firma Records, Firecracker Firecracker, and Human Conduct.

Currently HH is promoting The Halloween Tree by playing shows and making appearances through out the east coast states of the U.S.

Human Host has also contributed tracks to several various artists compilations and they have also scored the soundtrack music for two independent films: 'Electric Blood' by Evan Devine and 'Mall Crawlers' by N.O. Smith, both of which were released in the winter of 2008.

Over the past 4 years the group has promoted it's work through 8 different tours of the continental U.S. that have found them performing in every major American city and region at a wide variety of venues.

In the late summer/early fall of 2008 Human Host will embark upon a two month tour of North America.
